Donations & Tithes
For thousands of people in Moscow, every day is a struggle to survive the hardships of poverty, hunger, homelessness and sickness. The Moscow Protestant Chaplaincy (MPC) Social Services is committed to providing physical and spiritual assistance to marginalized individuals throughout Moscow by way of food sharing, medical care, shelter and education.
RENOVATION AT ST. PETER AND PAUL CONTINUES—Renovation at St. Peter and Paul Lutheran Cathedral (SPP) continues. We have entered into a new partnership with SPP which includes a joint space agreement. Our Medical Consultation Center which is currently located at the Parish Center has outgrown its current location and will relocate to SPP once the renovation is complete. We are discerning how we can expand our ministries together. Who knows what God has in store for us in the future?
We are grateful to Bishop Dietrich Brauer and his staff for all of their wonderful support and assistance in the project. A special word of thanks to MPC members John Beighle, Devyn Everett, and Steve Kirton for their guidance and direction of the project.
Attached you will find a flyer about the renovation. If you would like to make a special financial donation to the project, please place your donation in an envelope marked ‘SPP Building Project’ and drop it in the offering plate. Additionally, talk to Pastor Matthew about other ways to give to the project . His email address is mpchaplaincy@gmail.com.
We welcome your participation in this project. For more information, please contact Lindsey Snow, MPC social services development director. mpcdevelopmentdirector@gmail.com
